Until I was 41, I can’t remember ever really expressing honestly what I was feeling. I know it sounds sad but thankfully now I am fully able of speaking my truth. Obviously as I progressed in my recovery, the truth began to surface. That is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good because I finally felt strong enough to deal with the truth. The bad part was that I had suppressed for so long my inner most thoughts and feelings that they caused quite an emotional roller coaster at first. But that passed in time. So one must be prepared for the enormous pull coming from opposite ends as it happens. Knowing that this will most likely occur can alleviate much of the anxiety.
Looking back on this process, all I can say is I would do it over and over again. For now I realize it is the only way to survive this game we call “life”.
Like me, there are many women still anchored in fear unable to express what they really think or feel.. How can they step forward into living authentically? The first step is FOCUS within, finding our voice; the only one that matters. Our higher consciousness is directed by divine, spirit or universal energy, whatever you choose to call it. This voice, unique to each one of us will begin to lead us from the darkness of suppression to the light of truth. It is a process; it comes with time and commitment. I promise you the effort is well worth it. I encourage you to reach out, ask questions. Start the process here. I will reply to you personally. Start to share “your story”, step out of the darkness and into your light.
